The drive from Government funding bodies towards quality standards and accreditation is evident.
Compliance with relevant quality standards is now commonplace in most tendering processes. As we are now seeing many services having to re-tender for their existing funding, services which cannot adequately demonstrate quality compliance may risk losing their funding in a competitive tender.
Debbie has been engaged as independent quality reviewer for health and not-for-profit services since 2005. In this capacity Debbie has conducted over 60 external reviews under various quality frameworks, including Quality Improvement Council (QIC), Australian Services Excellence Standards (ASES), the HACC National Service Standards and the NSW Disability Service Standards.
In addition, Debbie has assisted organisations to prepare for external quality review and/or accreditation under various frameworks, including the Integrated Monitoring Framework, Community Care Common Standards, Bus Operator Accreditation Scheme (BOAS), National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and the National Quality Standards for early childhood education and care.
