Debbie brings to her work a distinct versatility, a commitment to delivering services which exceed customer expectations and personal attention to each and every project.

Debbie has excellent interpersonal skills and relates easily to people at all levels within an organisation.  Her analytical, problem-solving approach assists managers and teams to articulate their goals and find creative solutions to organisational challenges.  At the same time, Debbie's strong background in conflict management brings skills in group facilitation and consensus building.  Debbie is accustomed to presenting to and working with groups of all sizes.  With high-level management and leadership abilities, she is able to lead teams through large-scale, complex projects such as organisational mergers.

 Debbie enjoys the experience of working with a wide variety of organisations.  Her clients include organisations of all sizes from small grass-roots community groups through to large community organisations, Local Councils, Area Health Services and International charities.  Debbie's clients represent a wide range of service types and target groups including neighbourhood and community centres, children’s services, migrant and multicultural services, community transport, aged, disability, youth, mental health, drug and alcohol, housing and homelessness services, peak bodies and advocacy services.

  • Professional Qualifications

    I have a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Arts Hons (Psychology), Diploma of Management, Certificate IV Training and Assessment and I am a qualified mediator and trained Conflict Coach. I am a trained quality assessor, with extensive experience assessing against a number of frameworks including QIC, ASES, HACC Standards and NSW Disability Service Standards.

  • Professional Experience

    I have been providing management consultancy services since 2005 and prior to that had 17 years’ experience in senior management and executive level roles in the not-for-profit sectors in Australia, the UK and Canada, including disability, mental health and aged services. I have over 20 years’ experience developing and presenting workplace training for a wide variety of audiences including volunteers, staff, managers and Boards. I have developed, delivered and assessed accredited training including Certificate IV Front Line Management, Diploma of Management and Diploma of Community Services Management.

  • Professional Expertise

    I have particular expertise in organisational review and development, strategic and business planning, quality management including preparation for accreditation under a number of quality frameworks, project management of mergers and other large-scale projects, conflict management and mediation, tender writing, training, coaching/mentoring and group facilitation.

  • Conference Papers/Articles

    I have presented papers at numerous National conferences over the last 10 years including invitations to present papers on workplace conflict management for health sector employees.

  • Professional Associations

    I am a practitioner member of the Resolution Institute, the professional association for dispute resolvers, and a founding member of the Conflict Coaching Network which now has over 1,350 members globally.
